In a quiet room, hold the guitar close to the mic.
Starting from the 6th (thickest) string, pluck one string at a time.
Turn the tuning peg until the needle sits on the green center line.
After all six strings, check them once more.

Always tune up to pitch

If you go past the note, loosen well below it and bring it back up. If you tune by loosening, the string soon slips again. New strings keep stretching for a day or two, so just retune each time.

Not picking up sound?

Check mic permission at the lock icon to the left of the address bar, and try turning down fans or the air conditioner.

Slow tempo is the shortcut

Once you get it right three times in a row, raise it by 5. Practicing fast with mistakes trains your hands to make mistakes. Start the 'one-minute chord change' from roadmap stage 2 at 60.
