Terms of use

Effective September 14, 2026.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms set the conditions and procedures for using the services (the "Services") of First Guitar (the "Site"). They also set the rights and obligations of the Site and its users. The Services are beginner guitar information, recommendation tools, directories of teachers, music schools, retailers and repair shops, and inquiry relay.

Article 2 (Nature of the Services)

① All information the Site provides, including prices, models and playing techniques, is for reference only. It does not endorse buying any particular product or choosing any particular teacher. Prices are approximate retail ranges as of the reference date and may change.

② The teacher, music school, retailer and repair shop directories are registration-based. The Site is not a party to lessons or transactions between users and registrants, and responsibility for lessons and transactions lies with those parties.

③ Pages that contain affiliate links say so at the top. Affiliations do not affect the order of recommendations or the model lists.

Article 3 (Registrants' obligations)

① Anyone applying to register as a teacher, music school, retailer or repair shop guarantees that the information they submit is true. This includes experience, qualifications and business details.
② If false information, impersonation or improper solicitation of users is found, the Site may remove the listing without prior notice.

Article 4 (Users' obligations)

Users may not use registrants' contact details obtained through the Services for any purpose other than lesson or transaction inquiries. Users also may not copy or distribute the Site's content without permission.

Article 5 (Intellectual property)

Copyright in the Site's text, images, recommendation logic and data belongs to First Guitar. Quoting with attribution is allowed.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Site works to keep its information accurate, but is not liable for the following.

  • Damage caused by errors in or changes to information
  • Disputes arising from lessons or transactions with registrants
  • The content of linked external sites

This does not apply where the Site acted intentionally or with gross negligence.

Article 7 (Changes to the terms)

When we change these terms, we post the change in Notices 7 days before it takes effect.

Article 8 (Dispute resolution)

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court for the Site's registered address.
